We know you take your privacy seriously and we at Coffee Twist do too! We designed our mobile app to be completely private. Therefore, we are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control and ownership of your data in connection with your use of the Coffee Twistsite at https://www.coffeetwist.app and Coffee Twist’s mobile application (“Applications”, “the Service”, “Coffee Twist”.)

This Privacy Policy governs Coffee Twist’s treatment of your data and personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that Coffee Twist collects when you are using the Service and informs you of policies and practices regarding the information that we collect and use in connection with delivering our Applications, your registration with us, and your use of the Applications. You control how certain information is used and shared through our Service as described below.

Our policy applies only to the Applications we provide. It does not apply to other services you use to obtain our Applications, to services of others that you might find by using our Applications, or to other services that may coexist with our Applications or interact with it either on a mobile device or on the Internet (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.). Information Collection and Use

 

Account Information

 

When you sign up with Coffee Twist we collect only your email address to reach you. We do not collect your name to maintain your personal privacy. We do not store your password. We may also collect information about your other accounts, such as your login credentials and other information regarding your accounts on third-party feeds and services (such as Facebook, Instagram) so that you may use the information from those services to enhance your experience with Coffee Twist. We also collect information about your relationships with other users on social media services that interact with our Services.

Application Data

 

We receive and store on our servers various information you enter on our Services or provide to us in any other way. The types of Personal Information collected may include your email address and location (see more below.) We do not store photos or videos. All data that you create, edit, share and store is deemed 100% private to you. We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information to anyone. We will not share your application data with anyone, unless you authorize such sharing through our Service (see more below.) The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes as allowing you to set up a user account so you can back-up your Coffee Twist information, communicating with you about specials and new features and giving you a robust product experience.

Location

 

The Service deals with location, so in order to function optimally, it needs to know your location. If you gave us access to your mobile phone’s location services, we may automatically access your location information (GPS coordinates) to determine your current location in order to allow you to see lists of nearby event locations. We will not share your current location with anyone.

You will be asked to provide the App permission to access this feature the first time you choose to use it. If you do not want us use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application in your mobile phone settings.

Protection of User Information and Associated Metadata

 

Except as otherwise provided below, your data and associated metadata are deemed private to you, and is not made available to other users or to visitors of the Service.

You may choose to share your data or other personally-identifying information, to other users of the service or third-party services(such as Facebook and Twitter), and in such case, your information is ONLY shared with others when you proactively decide to share it. You may also choose to make available such information by sending it via email to other users and/or individuals not using the App or service. In such cases, we may so share the information, and the subsequent use of such information will be subject to the terms of such third party services, as applicable. Individuals reading this information may use it or disclose it to other individuals or entities without our control and without your knowledge. We therefore urge you to think carefully about including any specific information you may deem private in comments or other content (location or otherwise) that you create in the Services.

We do not control such third party services, your profiles on those services, modify your privacy settings on those services or establish rules about how your information on those services will be used. You and these third party providers are in control of those issues, not Coffee Twist. We encourage you to read all policies and information on the applicable services to learn more about how they handle your information before using any such features made available to you on the Service. We are not responsible for any acts or omissions by any other service provider or your use of features that come from their platform.

Protection of Other Personally Identifying Information

 

In addition to our employees, we employ other companies and independent contractors only for the purpose of administering and providing our technology and the Service. We may need to share your information with them in order for them to provide services to us. We do not authorize such vendors and contractors to use your Personal Information for their own benefit, and they have agreed to not disclose your information to others.

In order to keep our service stable and running securely, we may engage a number of highly trusted third parties, including storage providers and analytics providers. When necessary, we may share your information with these parties in order to deliver the best experience possible. When it comes to third party providers, we will always do what’s best to maintain your privacy and security. As such, your Personal Information will never be sold to third parties.

We may reveal information to satisfy or comply with any, including those outside of your country of residence, law, regulation or legal process or to respond to lawful requests, including subpoenas, litigation discovery requests, warrants or court orders; to protect our property, rights and safety and the rights, property and safety of third parties or the public in general; and to prevent or stop activity we consider to be illegal or unethical.

Children Under 16

 

Our service is not directed to children under 13 years old (or 14 years old, if the user lives in Spain or South Korea), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 14, if the user lives in Spain or South Korea). If a user is between the ages of 13 and 16 years old, they need consent from the holder who has parental responsibility over them. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13 (or 14 years old, if the user lives in Spain or South Korea) or that a user between the ages of 13 and 16 years old does not have the required consent, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible, which may require terminating an account.

The Security of Your Information

 

We take all reasonable measures possible to protect the information that we collect from or about you from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please be aware that, although we provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no se curity system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Aggregated Data and Statistics

 

In the future, we may collect data, analytics, and statistics about the behaviour of users using trusted third party partners. Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Applications and our Services.

International Users

 

If you are located outside of the United States, please note that our Services are hosted on computer servers in the United States. Therefore, your information may be processed and stored in the United States. As a result, United States federal and state governments, courts, or law enforcement or regulatory agencies may be able to obtain disclosure of your information through laws applicable in the United States. Your use of the Sites or the Services or your submission of any Personal Information to us will constitute your consent to the transfer of your Personal Information from your home country, including the United States, which may provide for different data protection rules than in your country.

Opt Out

 

You can stop all collection of information by the Applications easily by uninstalling the Applications. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile phone or desktop machine. You can also request to opt-out or for us to delete your account via email at [email protected] Because of the way we maintain Coffee Twist, such deletion may not be immediate, and residual copies of your Personal Information may remain on backup media for up to ninety (90) days. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will retain information as required by applicable law and we will not delete any information that has already been aggregated or anonymized.

Even after you or we remove information from your account or profile, copies of that information may remain viewable elsewhere, to the extent you shared it with others on other third party services (such as Facebook or Twitter).

Our service may contain links to other websites and services. Any information that you provide on or to a third-party website or service is provided directly to the owner of the website or service and is subject to that party’s privacy policy. Our privacy policy does not apply to such websites or services and we’re not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of those websites or services. To protect your information we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of other websites and services that you access.

Our Communications With You

 

If you created an account or supplied your email address, you expressly consent to receiving emails from us, where permitted by law. We may send you an email to communicate with you, to send you information that you have requested or to tell you about new features or products developed by us or our partners, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with our Service.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

 

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify and revise this policy so please review it frequently. If we make any material changes to this policy, then we will notify you here, as well as by posting a notice on our website or by sending you an email or other notification. We will indicate when such changes will become effective. Users are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when they use the Services after such changes have been first posted.
